Office of the Fairness Commissioner

Under the RHPA, Ontario’s Fairness Commissioner is charged with ensuring that the registration practices of Ontario’s regulators are transparent, objective, impartial and fair. The Office of the Fairness Commissioner (OFC) achieves this by requiring regulatory bodies to report on their registration practices on a regular basis, and by performing audits. Further information regarding the Office of the Fairness Commissioner and their work can be found at: www.fairnesscommissioner.ca.

As part of the ongoing continuous improvement process the CMRTO self-identified two initiatives that would provide additional information to applicants and thereby enhance the transparency of our processes.
