CMRITO employs about 24 staff to do the work of regulating medical radiation and imaging technologists to ensure the protection of the public, which includes: registering medical radiation and imaging technologists, establishing standards of practice, promoting quality assurance and continuing competence, and enforcing standards of practice.

Positions at the College (which may or may not require a background in the profession) typically span the areas of: administration, practice advice, communications, policy analysis, records management, finance, human resources, investigations, prosecutions and computer systems development and maintenance.

Corporate Services Associate 

The College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO), the regulatory body responsible for regulating the practice of medical radiation and imaging technologists in Ontario, is looking for an energetic, conscientious and detail oriented individual who enjoys making a difference, being part of a team and takes pride in their career, to work in our office in downtown Toronto.

This is a 14-20 month contract position commencing April 6, 2020.

 JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The Corporate Services Associate is responsible for: 

  • Providing outstanding customer service as the first representative of the CMRITO to the public, its members, Council and Committee members, stakeholders and visitors 
  • Supporting the communications strategy of the CMRITO by managing email and telephone enquiries 
  • Maintaining the appearance, order and cleanliness of the reception area, main hospitality area, meeting rooms and staff kitchen 
  • Providing support and preparation for meetings: help setup the meeting room, setting up food and catering, after event cleanup and any other event setup required. 
  • A variety of administrative tasks which support the overall operations of the CMRITO and in particular the reception area 
  • Supporting the Registrar and Directors in project management and other duties as required 
  • Helping with the logistic requirements around conference registrations including travel, accommodation, registration, shipping of material.
  • Office support functions including copying and monitoring and ordering office supplies
  • Assisting with the attendance management for the CMRITO Professional Practice Workshops

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor Degree would be an asset 
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, email and internet. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and SharePoint an asset 
  • Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written, organizational skills, both analytical and problem solving, and the ability to work with confidential documents 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and achieve deadlines under pressure
