CURRENT REFERRALS

On August 26, 2022, a panel of the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports (ICR) Committee of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (the College) referred to the Discipline Committee of the College the allegation that Mohammed Soussi has committed an act or acts of professional misconduct. On June 11, 2023, Mohammed Soussi signed an undertaking to resign and never reapply. View the undertaking here.

On June 21, 2023, a panel of the Discipline Committee of the College adjourned the hearing into the allegations set out in the Notice of Hearing dated September 12, 2022 indefinitely. View the panel’s reasons for decision here.
 

SPECIAL NOTICES

In a decision dated April 5, 2023, the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports (ICR) Committee directed that Mohammed Soussi be required to appear virtually before a panel of the ICR Committee to be cautioned regarding their compliance with Practice Standard 3: Diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and Practice Standard 5: Relationships with patients.

The ICR Committee also directed that Mohammed Soussi complete the following specified continuing education and remediation program (SCERP) aimed at improving their understanding of Practice Standard 3: Diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and Practice Standard 5: Relationships with patients within one (1) year of their receipt of the decision:

  1. that Mohammed Soussi successfully complete, at their own expense, the CPEP PROBE: Ethics & Boundaries Program – Canada and obtain a grade of “Unconditional Pass”, and
  2. that Mohammed Soussi submit proof of their successful completion and grade of “Unconditional Pass” for the PROBE: Ethics & Boundaries Program – Canada to the Registrar.
