TERMS, CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS

The registrant shall practise only in the areas of medical radiation and imaging technology in which the registrant is educated and experienced.
Effective November 18, 2025, and until such time as a panel varies the order or the captioned matters are finally disposed of, Nadia Ahmad ("the Registrant") is required to:
  1. inform their employer(s) that they are being investigated by the College for falsifying a patient record and confirm the same with the College in writing within ten (10) days; 

  1. be subject to practise monitoring at each place in which they practice the profession as follows: 

    a. the Registrant is required to find a College-approved monitor (either another CMRITO registrant in the specialty of diagnostic medical sonography or a physician) who works at the same facility (“the practise monitor”); and

    b. the practise monitor is required to review a random sample of five of the Registrant’s diagnostic ultrasound procedures every two weeks to determine whether there are any improper additions, deletions, or edits and to report any concerning findings to the College in writing as soon as reasonably practicable after such a finding is made. 

CURRENT REFERRALS

On November 7, 2025, a panel of the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports (ICR) Committee of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (the College) referred to a panel of the Discipline Committee of the College the allegation that Nadia Ahmad, a member of the College, has committed an act or acts of professional misconduct in that they: 

  • contravened subsection 5(3) of the Medical Radiation and Imaging Technology Act, 2017 (the “Act”), specifically subsections 5(1) or (2) of the Act related to performing authorized acts; 

  • falsified a record relating to their practice;  

  • failed to maintain the standards of practice of the profession, more particularly: 

    • Standard 1: Legislation, standards and ethics, and/or  
    • Standard 7: Record and reporting
       
  • contravened the Act, the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 (RHPA) or the regulations under either of those Acts, and/or 

  • engaged in conduct or performed an act relevant to the practice of the profession that, having regard to all the circumstances, would reasonably be regarded by members as disgraceful, dishonourable or unprofessional. 

The allegations of professional misconduct will be heard and determined by the Discipline Committee of the College on a date and time to be fixed by electronic means.
