CMRITO Professional Practice Workshops

Throughout 2020, Deputy Registrar Caroline Morris will be conducting a series of workshops across the province focusing on professional practice.

The first two workshops – scheduled for Toronto in February and Brampton in March – are now full. If you are still interested in attending either of these events, please use the links in the messages sent to CMRITO members this week to add your name to the waitlists for these sessions.

The workshops will concentrate on the CMRITO Standards of Practice and patient and family focused care.

Using interactive discussions and case studies, the workshops will cover the accountabilities and practice expectations of each CMRITO member as a self-regulated professional. Attendees will also examine patient communication best practices, and participate in exercises where you can share your expertise and collaborate with colleagues about providing compassionate patient and family focused care to your patients.

Completion of the workshop will count for five hours of learning activities toward your QA ePortfolio.

The workshops are free of charge to CMRITO members and will include lunch. Because of the interactive nature of these workshops, space for these sessions is limited!

CMRITO members will be notified by email when registration for new sessions opens. Please ensure you have added communications@cmrito.org and workshops@cmrito.org to your email’s safe sender list to ensure you receive these and other important messages from CMRITO.

Your registration for these events will be confirmed one week before each event. If you find yourself unable to attend the workshop you registered for, please change your registration or notify us at workshops@cmrito.org to ensure that one of your colleagues can attend instead.

If you have signed up for the waitlist for any workshop, we will let you know within the week before the event if a space has opened up.
